About My IQ

The My IQ home page appears when you login to Intranet Quorum. You can control the content and layout of the My IQ page by selecting which sections (i.e. web parts) you would like to appear on your home page. The list of available IQ web parts is displayed when you click the Add WebPart from Catalog link. Simply click and drag the web part to place it at the top or bottom of the My IQ page or in one of the three columns. Note: You can change the number of columns by clicking in the # of Columns field (located at the top of the catalog) and selecting 1, 2 or 3. In addition to selecting the location of each web part, you can also configure the size of each web part. Some web parts also allow you to select the contents.

By default, the My IQ page contains the following web parts: Search People, Document Directory, Top Issues and Workflow Types and Recent People Mail and Workflow in the first column, Announcements, My Schedule, and My Work in the second column, and My Links in the third column.  Note: The default My IQ page for your office may vary from this if your Administrator has configured a different default. You can restore the default web parts to your My IQ page at any time by clicking the Reset link located at the top of the catalog.

The Search People web part allows you to quickly search for a record in the People database. Type the name in first last format (i.e. John Smith) in the Search By field and press the ENTER key or click the GO button. The Top Issues and Workflow Types web part displays the number of mail records to which the issue code was assigned during a specified period of time.  The mail count includes pending and completed mail with any status code. The numbers shown for workflow types indicate the number of workflow records created using the template shown.  The display type, number displayed and time period used to calculate the top mail issues and workflow types is set through the web part. Click any issue or type link to go to a record listing. By default, the Recent People Mail and Workflow web part displays a list of the last People, Mail or Workflow records you have accessed in IQ. You can edit the web part and select which additional or other record types you would like to appear and change the title of the web part. In addition, you can click the Recent link in the IQ Utility Bar, to display a list of the last 10 records ( People, Mail, Documents, Workflow, etc.) you accessed in IQ.

In the second column, the Announcements web part displays information for your office. The My Schedule web part allows you to select which schedule you would like to display. The My Work web part provides quick and easy access to your pending work. The My Links web part displays a list of links to IQ searches you have saved or other web sites.

Actions available for My IQ let you add People and Workflow records, Calendar Events, Documents, Form Letters and Issue Tally. You can use the Change Password action to change the password for your IQ user ID.  Also available are a History action, which displays all the records you've accessed and searches that you've used in the past ten days on the History Log, and a Refresh action, which lets you refresh the My IQ page to display changes to assigned work.
