Changing a Password

Passwords should be changed periodically. Users may change their IQ password using the Change Password action on the My IQ page if their user-id has access to Security Lock #106.

To change a password:

  1. Click the My IQ tab.

  2. Select the Change Password action.

  3. Type your current password in the Enter Current Password field.

  4. Type the new password in the Enter New Password field. Note: The minimum length, types of characters and other rules are set in the Password Rules section in your IQ System Configuration Settings.

  5. Type the password again in the Confirm New Password field.

  6. Click the Change Password button.

  7. Click OK when "Your password has been changed" appears.
