Deleting a Workflow

If you add a workflow by mistake or for some other reason want to delete a workflow, you can do so if your IQ user-id has been granted access to Security Lock #63. If you do not have rights to delete workflow records, the Delete action does not appear.

To delete an open or closed workflow:

  1. Find the workflow using a People search or Workflow search.

  2. Click the Workflow ID to go to the Workflow Record page.

  3. Select the Delete action and click OK in response to the confirmation message.

If your IQ user-id has been granted access to Security Lock #87, you can also delete multiple Workflow records from the Search Results page by selecting the check box next to each one and then selecting the Delete action. This action takes you to a confirmation message that shows the number of selected records that can be deleted.

Any Discussion Topics associated with the workflow are deleted. Any mail sent to a person through workflow will remain and must be deleted individually.

Note: You can delete an unsaved workflow record by selecting the Cancel action on the Workflow Record page. This action is available only for new workflow records. Once you've saved a workflow record, you must use the Delete action to delete it.
