Legislative Action Search Page

The Legislative Action Search page contains fields that let you enter criteria for finding legislative actions. IQ combines field information for a search, so that if you enter information in more than one field, you'll find actions that contain all the information you specified. The more information you enter on the Search page, the more specific your search will be.

Legislative Action Search Fields

Fields on the Legislative Action Search page let you search for legislative actions. You can search for an action based on who is responsible for the action, its issue code, type, name, description or notes information, when it was created or completed, and its success rating. An action must meet all criteria entered on this page in order for IQ to locate it with the search.

The following search fields are available:  Action Name, Action Type, Member Role, Assigned To, Issues, Description, Action Notes, Success Rating, Creation Date, Completion Date, Congress, Bill Type, and Bill Number.

Type a word or words to find legislative actions whose Action Name field contains that word or words.  You must include wildcards (* or %) before and after the string, for example, *health care* , because IQ does not add them.
