Intranet Quorum uses codes to limit entries in fields that require specific data. When you click in a field that requires entry of a code, you can enter only those which are in the code file for that field. This feature speeds data entry and helps to ensure the information entered is consistent.
Every code has a translation. Some fields display the code itself, some display the translation, and some display both.
Users with a sufficient level of system access can create new code records and change or archive existing ones. Each code file contains a Status Log which records the date and time the code was added or updated along with the user who performed the action. You can also print out a list of some or all codes.
Note: If the System Configuration Setting "This Account is for IQ3 use only" is set to No for your IQ System, you will be redirected to the IQ4 user interface for code maintenance.
