Changing Batch Ownership

The person who initially creates a batch is considered the owner. You can change the owner of a batch to another user if you want that user to be responsible for the batch. Users have access to all batches that they own from My Work by clicking the Active Batches link.

To change the ownership of a batch:

  1. Click the Mail tab and click the Batches submenu link to go to the Quick Search page for batches.

  2. Search for the batch for which you want to change ownership by performing a quick or advanced search. Found batches appear on the Search Results page.

  3. Select the check box next to the batch or batches you want to change.

  4. Select the Change Owner action.

  5. Click the search icon next to the New Batch Owner field to search for and select the new owner.

  6. Click the Change button.

  7. Click OK to clear the selected batches. The Search Results page refreshes and displays the new owner in the Owner column and updates the Change Owner Date column with the current date and time.

Note: You can view changes to batch ownership for a specific batch on the Full Batch Page. In addition, you can create a Mail List or Custom Report to search for or report on the last "change owner" date.
