Detaching People Records from a Workflow

If your IQ user-ID has been granted access to Security Lock #69 (DetachPeople), you can detach People or Agency Contact records that are attached to a workflow record. All attached records appear on the People panel.

To detach a record from a workflow:

  1. Find the workflow.

  2. On the People panel, select the check box next to the records you want to detach.

  3. Select the Detach People action or the Detach Contact action.

  4. Click the OK button in response to the confirmation message.

If you detach the primary People record from the workflow, the No Primary Person option is automatically selected for the workflow.

Note: If workflow roles are defined in the workflow template, only those People records for the selected role will appear on the People panel. If you want to detach all People records or more than those with a particular role, select the All People option at the top of the People panel to display all attached People records regardless of their role.
