Assigning Workflow Codes

When you want to assign a workflow code to a group of Workflow records, you can do this by finding the records and then updating them all with the same code or codes. You can add and remove workflow codes from both open and closed workflow records as long as your IQ user-id has security rights to reopen the closed workflow.

To assign workflow codes to multiple records:

  1. Search for the records you want to update. Use the Workflow Quick or Advanced Search to locate the records.

  2. When the records appear on the Search Results page, click the Select All link at the top of the page to select the check boxes next to all records found. If you want to update only selected records, select the check box next to those records.

  3. Select the Assign WF Codes action.

  4. Type the workflow code or codes you want to assign to the records. If you're assigning multiple codes, type one per line. Click the search icon to view and select from a list of all available workflow codes. Click the Save button once you've selected the codes.

  5. Click the Add button to assign the codes to the selected Workflow records.

  6. Click OK in response to the notification prompt.

You can also remove workflow codes from selected Workflow records by following the steps above and using the Remove button.
