Viewing a List

Once you've created a list, you can view a listing of all records in it, and you can go to each record in the list by clicking its link. In addition, you can select one or more records in the list and then select an action to perform for all or selected records in the list. Actions vary, depending on the module.

To view records in a list:

  1. Click the module tab and click the Lists submenu link.

  2. Search for the list or lists you want to view.

  3. Select the check box next to the list or lists you want to view.

  4. Select the View Lists action. IQ displays the View Lists dialog with the number of selected lists. If you selected more than one list, IQ temporarily merges the lists into one list.

  5. Click the Submit button.

  6. IQ displays the Search Results page for the module you are viewing lists for. A link (name for people, ID for mail and workflow records) lets you go to the People, Mail, or Workflow record (depending on the type of select you’re viewing).

If the list you are viewing is a Mail list, click the Expand T-Mail action to display all of the people records attached to T-Mail records. Click the Collapse T-Mail action to display only one record for each targeted mailing. Note: If your IQ user-id has not been granted access to Security Lock #55, you will not be able to view mail records that are assigned to other IQ users.

If the list you are viewing is a People list, you can use the Merge action to merge up to five selected People records on the Merge Selected People dialog.

Note: When viewing a list, you can use the Modify link to go the Advanced Search criteria to filter the records in the list. For example, if you are viewing a Mail List which contains all mail records for the current month, you can use the Advanced Search to filter out the pending mail that is assigned to a specific user in that list.
