Managing Calendars

If your IQ user-id has been granted access to Security Lock #159, the Manage Calendars and Grant Access actions will appear on the Calendars explorer grid. The Manage Calendars action displays a list of all the calendars in your IQ database, regardless of your access level to those calendars. This action, in conjunction with the Grant Access action allows you to quickly and easily assign access to all calendars without having to go into each calendar one at a time. This is particularly useful when setting access for your Office Scheduler, who typically needs access to all IQ calendars.

 

How to assign access to multiple calendars:

  1. Click the Calendar tab.

  2. Click the Calendars submenu link.

  3. Select the Manage Calendars action.

  4. Click the Select All link to select the check boxes next to all calendars or if you want to assign access to selected calendars, select the check box next to those calendars.

  5. Select the Grant Access action.

  6. Enter or select the user record in the appropriate Owner, Editor or Reader access type field.

  7. Click the Grant Access button.
