Copying an Event

The copy function lets you copy an event or events to another day for the same calendar or other calendars. When you copy an event, the entire event, including any attached files, People or Workflow records, is copied into a new Event ID.

To copy an event:

  1. Find the event or events you want to copy by selecting the date on the Daily Schedule calendar or by searching.

  2. On the Daily Schedule or Search Results page, select the check box next to the event or events you want to copy and select the Copy Events action.

  3. Click the search icon to search for and select the calendar or calendars to which you want to copy your selected events.

  4. Click the Copy to Calendars button to complete the action.

Note that the Copy Event action is available in the Event Record page and includes the ability to select another date, start time and end time for the copied event. Use the Add to Calendars action on the Daily Schedule or Search Results page if you want to place multiple events on other calendars without creating new events.
