Mail Record Text Search

The Search Text field is located in the Outgoing section for non-completed Mail records for users that have access rights to modify Mail records. It is designed to allow you to easily locate other custom or form letters which contain text that may be relevant to the letter you are working on. Note: The text search also searches letter names and the print format. You can then copy selected text from the "found" letters and paste the text into the letter you are creating using standard Windows mouse or keyboard commands.

How to perform a text search:

  1. Search for and access the Mail record.

  2. Type the word or words you are searching for in the Search Text field.

  3. Click the Search link.

  4. IQ displays the Search Recent Custom Letters and Form Letter Library dialog with the search results and additional text search fields.
