Incoming Email Response

Incoming Emails in IQ that have not yet been processed will open to a collapsed Message record in order to more easily view the incoming message to decide whether to respond or not.  Incoming emails that have not been assigned a Form Letter, and have not yet been assigned to a Batch will appear collapsed until a user selects an option to Reply or process the message with No Response.

Process a Reply

1.Locate the incoming Email message in a Messages List View.

2.Click the link to open the Message.

3.You will see the content of the incoming email on the page.  If you wish to reply to the incoming email, use the Reply button in the center of the page.

4.The message expands to allow you to enter an Outgoing Method, Attachments, add the email to a Batch, attach a Form Letter or an Issue Code.  You may also use the option to customize a response.

5.When you are ready to send the email, be sure that the Status is Approved, and use the Send button.
