Monitor Services
If you are responsible for managing the flow of work of other IQ users, you can use the Monitor option to stay current on updates and changes made to Services assigned to others.
1.Use the Services Search options to locate the Service you wish to monitor.
2.Use the Row Action in the Services list to select the Monitor option.
3.Your user name will automatically be included in the User field. Add other users as appropriate.
4.Add a User Group if you wish this service to be monitored by all members of a user group.
5.If the Alert on Status Change box is checked, you will receive an alert any time a change is made to this Service.
6.If you use the radio button to monitor the service until it is complete, you will receive updated information until the Service is closed. If you choose to monitor the service until the current step is complete, you will receive updated information until the Service is moved to the next step.
7.Enter Alert Text. This is text that will appear in an email notification about this Service if you have opted to receive alerts for Services by email.
8.Use the Add button.
1.If you have selected to receive alerts by email, changes to a Monitored service will appear in your inbox. Click the link included in the email to open the Monitored service.
2.If you have selected to receive alerts in IQ4, you will see all alerts on the IQ4 Home page in the Alerts tile. Click the Alerts tile to view all alerts.
3.If you have opted not to receive alerts for Monitored Services, you can locate all Monitored Services assigned to you in the My Work tile. Click the tile to open the list of all records assigned to you. There will be a link to Monitored Services.
