Viewing Demographic Data

Market: House/Senate

Description: These instructions teach users how to to view voters’ demographic data by State, County or District levels. In IQ, users can view demographic statistical data such as household income, education level, number of children, etc. that can better inform the office staff about the constituents they serve.

1.Navigate to the LegiStats module.

2.Under Demographics, select State, District, or County. In this example, we will choose State.

3. Select a State.

4. On the left side is a set of charts and categories. Check the item(s) within categories that you would like to analyze and be included in the display on the right.

5. (Optional). Select Multiple Jurisdictions to compare data among different States, Districts, or Counties.

6. (Optional). Select Export to export the chart to an MS Excel file.
