If your IQ user-id has been granted access to Security Lock #331, you can use the Report Usage action to search for reports that have been run during a specified date and/or run time range, record count or report size. This information can then be used to identify which reports are being used, which reports are slow and inefficient, who ran the report and the reports criteria in SQL. Programmed reports, sub reports and Print Summary for People and Workflow are not included in the report usage results.
To run Report Usage:
Select the Reports submenu from the People, Mail, etc. module.
Select the Report Usage action.
Click in the Report Module field and select the module you want to view report usage. Note: Leave this field empty to view report usage for all IQ modules.
Enter a date and time range in the Run From and Run To fields or leave empty to find all reports for the selected module. You can also search on Run Time, Record Count and Report File Size.
Click the Go button to begin the search. IQ displays the results on the Report Usage explorer grid with the IQ Module, Report Name, User Name, Start Date, End Date, Run Time, Record Count and File Size.
