Using Address Checker Utilities

Address Checker is an Intranet Quorum utility that allows verification and standardization of mailing addresses within the United States according to US Postal Service CASS standards. IQ uses third-party software approved by the Postal Service to provide this functionality. You'll receive notification messages if you do not update your database prior to its expiration date. To check the expiration date, select About Address Checker in the Select Type of Address&ldots; field.

In addition to standardizing addresses through the People database, you can use Address Checker to find geographical information about addresses, cities, and ZIP Codes.

To use address checker utilities:

  1. Click the People tab and click the Address Checker submenu link.

  2. Click in the Select Type of Address&ldots; field and select the lookup utility you want to perform.

  3. Complete the field or fields that appear for the type of lookup you're performing and click the GO button for the results.
