Searching for E-Mail Correspondence Rules

The Internet Mail Agent Rules Search page lets you select criteria for finding and displaying existing rules and sub-rules.

To search for a rule or sub-rule:

  1. Click the Admin tab and click the IMA Rules submenu link. Note: Your IQ user-ID must be granted access to Security Lock #91 to access the Admin module.

  2. Click the Correspondence Rules link to go to the Internet Mail Agent Rules Search page. Note: The Correspondence Rules link will not appear if your IQ user-id has not been granted access to Security Lock #102.

  3. Select the criteria for rules you want to view and click the Go button.

  4. The found rules will be displayed in the Search Results page.

  5. Click the Rule ID link to open the Edit Rule record page.

IMA Rules Search Criteria

Fields on the Rules Search page let you select criteria to search for and display existing rules. The following fields are available: Status, Action, Errors, and Sub-Rules.

Status

Click in this field and select All, Active, or Inactive to find rules that are active, inactive, or both.

Action

Click in this field and select one of five options to show All Actions, those that route mail to a Digital Mail set, those that delete the E-Mail, those that route mail to the E-Mail Exception set and those that Update the Database.

Errors

Click in this field and select an option to include or exclude invalid rules that contain errors. Select the Only option to view only those records with errors.

Sub-Rules

Click in this field and select an option to include or exclude sub-rules. Select the Only option to view only sub-rules.
