Printing a Copy of a Letter

You can print an exact copy of a letter that was sent to a correspondent. This feature is available only for mail with a status of Completed.

To print a copy of a letter:

  1. Search for the correspondence through mail search or name search.

If you searched by mail, click the ID link to display the record.

If you searched by name, on the People Record page, click the Mail tab and locate the mail record under the Completed Mail section of that panel. Click the ID link to display the record.

  1. Select the Print action and then select Print Copy to print a copy of the letter.

Note that when printing a letter with the Pick Printer action On, you'll be prompted for a printer to send the letter to. If the Pick Printer action is Off, the letter is sent to the default printer without a printer prompt. The default printer used for printing from the Mail Record page is the last printer you selected for printing from the Full Batch or Mail Search Results page. Click the Pick Printer option under the Print action menu to toggle between On and Off.
